Contains music that was written for Bernard Zaslav and his performing ensembles, music with related correspondence that was given to Bernard Zaslav and his performing ensembles, and Zaslav's collection of materials on Gabriela Lena Frank and Émile Férir. Dated approximately 1800-2011 with the bulk of the materials being from 1956-2011.

This series contains Gordon Childs' personal arrangements and edits of viola d'amore pieces. The materials are in the form of printed music scores, Gordon Childs’ personal handwritten manuscripts of his arrangements, and photocopied music scores. Many of the scores have added annotations and markings by Childs. Dated circa 1700-1799 with the bulk being between 1935-1999.

This series contains materials Gordon Childs collected and received from several prominent contemporary viola d'amore players and composers. The collection includes a rare piece of music given to him by the well-known composer, Vaclav Nelhybel, to perform. Dated 1782-2014 with the bulk being from 1900-2014.

This subseries contains musical scores composed and arranged by Wunderle in the form of photocopied handwritten manuscripts. Dated circa 1866-1944.

Scope and Contents This subseries contains musical scores from Daniel Thomason’s personal music library that he gave to Childs. These scores are in the form of printed music, photocopies of original manuscripts and include Thomason’s own arrangements. The collection also contains a piece written for the very first viola congress that Childs performed with Thomason and Myron Rosenblum in June 1982. Scope and Contents

This subseries includes programs, newspaper articles, biographies, and other reviews written about Muradian by Gordon Childs, members of the Viola d’amore Society of America, one of Muradian’s teachers, and other well-known musicians. The sub-series also includes quartets, concertos, and sonatas written by Muradian. These are in the form of photocopied handwritten manuscripts and printed musical scores. Some contain personal annotations and markings by Childs. Dated 1955-1998.
